“I just read this book last night. The whole thing. My friend loaned it to me to read Billie’s story because she knows her, but I read the whole thing. I loved all the stories. They are all so different, but they all have heart!! That’s what I like.” Lin May, October 14, 2009
“I tried to put a comment on Amazon.com but I had to buy something before I could comment. My mom liked the first story the best, but she said the rest were pretty good too. My dad and I liked the last story best. My sisters liked them all except if they have to pick the best they pick the middle two, so for our family you put in something for everybody. You’d have to know our family to know that is rare.” Nickie Walker, October 16
“The books I enjoyed reading the most are those that are provocative and captivating; ones that introduced me to ideas, philosophies, situations that had never entered my mind. This book joins the league of books that have me thinking and looking to learn more.
This team of four writers has eloquently portrayed the quest of four unexpected champions in their crusade to save humanity against the four horsemen of the apocalypse. A noble quest indeed!
Each writer captured the exhilaration, drama and courage each champion encountered in their escapades. Although I remotely knew of the prophesy of the apocalypse and heard of archangels, I had never put all the pieces together. This was a fun way to learn about these ancient beliefs in contemporary times and locations.
I highly recommend joining the Champions, Alexandra, Dinah, Emily, and Julia, encounter their Horseman of the apocalypse: Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. By the end of the book, you may think twice about accepting a free shooter at a bar.” Helen Roman-Smith, October 19
