Ryan McFadden

Ryan McFadden knew from age 16 that he was going to make his living writing novels. After 18 years of living this dream, he has earned a total of $45, publishing in Alienskin, Chicago Overcoat, Afterburn SF, as well as a finalist in the $1500 JFJK contest.

He attended the Creative Writing program at York University where he realized he was a fraud and a liar – two good traits for his line of work (both for his marketing side gig and his writing). No, he doesn’t want to write a story about your life.

He lives in his Mom’s basement in London, Ontario and has no friends. You can track his latest rejections at ryanmcfadden.com.

EILEEN_MAY_DAYEileen Bell

Eileen Bell has written (you guessed it) most of her life. She has completed 3 novels (one burned, one under her bed, one out in the world), several novellas, short stories and personal essays (her last success two stories in Absolute xPress’s Seven Deadly Sins), and is happily working on several new projects. When she isn’t writing she’s living a fine life in a round house with her husband, her dog, her daughter’s cat, and four fish.

You may track her progress at http://www.eileenbell.com.

Roxanne Felix

If Roxanne Felix had only three wishes, it would be to spend her summers in Prince Edward Island, to deliver the perfect Muay-Thai roundhouse kick, and to lengthen the nights – for that’s when she writes. As a result of her night owl habits, she has been published in Canadian Living magazine, an Albertan short story anthology entitled Howling at the Harvest Moon, and an on-line anthology featuring stories about Asian Canadian youth. She also collaborated on another exciting Absolute XPress anthology featuring flash fiction, entitled Seven Deadly Sins. When not working on other writing projects, she mails out letters trying to get her first young adult fantasy novel published. Drop by her website at www.roxannefelix.com

BUG_BLACK_SHIRTBillie Milholland

Billie Milholland has been a writer most of her life. She’s had articles published in Harrowsmith, children’s stories in Chickadee, short stories on CBC Radio Anthology, and a time travel novella in an Edmonton Sun special edition. With several non-fiction books to her credit, she now has her sight fixed firmly on speculative fiction. Toward that end, she has recently sent three novels out into the world to look for a home. Two of her flash fiction pieces were published in Absolute xPress’s Seven Deadly Sins anthology in April 2009 and she is blissfully working on several new projects. Her day job with an environmental watershed organization keeps her Mundanian citizenship current. Billie lives in Alberta, Canada with her extended family (husband, daughter, granddaughter and cat). They help her keep one foot on the ground, where all good stories begin.
